The Standards Organisation of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme (SONCAP) is a mandatory pre-dispatch conformity verification scheme. It ensures that goods intended for import into Nigeria comply with applicable Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS) or approved equivalent international standards and technical regulations before shipment.
