The Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme (KUCAS) is a mandatory conformity assessment program that ensures regulated products exported to Kuwait comply with national technical regulations or approved international standards. Each shipment of regulated goods must be accompanied by a valid Certificate of Conformity (CoC / ICCP) for customs clearance.
Goods arriving in Kuwait without the required certificate may be rejected at entry or subjected to additional testing, resulting in delays and added costs.
Objectives of the KUCAS Program
Protect consumers and the environment from unsafe or counterfeit products
Verify product compliance with Kuwaiti technical regulations and standards
Safeguard local industries from unfair competition caused by non-compliant goods
